Limpert Bay provides a mix of habitats ranging from coastal views through pebbled shoreline studies to a biodiversity site, and forms a section of the Wales coast path. This offers a range of photographic opportunities for CPS members to explore and enjoy.
Ten members made the trip – Jill and Peter Young, Tracy Onions, Nigel Goode, Sue Anslow, Graham Porritt, Kevin Morgan, Lynn Brown, Bea von der Haar and Kevin Doyle. We are a fairly diverse group photographically and Limpert Bay provides opportunities across a range of subject matter.
Conditions were pleasant with an suitably moody cloud formation providing a dramatic element, but warm enough to encourage abundant insect life in the biodiversity area at the, now defunct, lime works site. The old Aberthaw coal fired power station, currently being demolished, provides an interesting backdrop to the coastal walk.
We spent a very pleasant morning and afternoon exploring the area and the images presented here reflect the differing styles and subject matter that interest our group. It was an excellent Fotoforaay thoroughly enjoyed by all participants.
